Owner and Therapist
Maya Scarbrough, LMSW
Hi, I’m Maya Scarbrough, and I specialize in working with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, identity exploration, and the ups and downs of life transitions. Whether you're adjusting to a new phase in life, feeling overwhelmed by expectations, or simply trying to understand yourself better—I’m here to help.
I offer an affirming, neurodiversity-informed, and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ clients and those questioning or exploring who they are. My practice celebrates all ways of thinking, feeling, and being, with deep respect for each person's lived experience.

I also work closely with families to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and create supportive home environments—especially in times of stress or change.
Using approaches grounded in CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy, I tailor each session to meet you where you are. I believe in honoring your pace, your voice, and your story.

You don’t have to have all the answers—we’ll figure things out together.

I love working with clients experiencing challenges like anxiety, depression, stress, and low self-esteem, as well as those adjusting to life transitions, managing ADHD, or navigating friendship and identity concerns. Outside of the office, I enjoy running, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with my two cats, Bear and Ellie.
